Libby and Matt hosted their Fellows at their places of work in July 2019, Vitacress Herbs and Intercrop.
I was blown away by the Vitacress site and the level of mechanisation used at Vitacress. Libby gave a very comprehensive tour explaining each step in the production process from potting and sowing seed to growing, harvest and packing.

The Intercrop visit was rally interesting. I learned lots about hydroponics, which was fascinating and gave me plenty to think about regarding some of our own trials at Vitacress.
The Field grown crops were also goof to see, as this type of production resembles our own field grown crops, so it was useful to develop my understanding of salad production.
